Job Description:

  1. Receives/checks all inventory transaction documents involving Raw Materials (RM), Finished Goods (FG), Scrap and Supplies, for encoding to the system.
  2. Checks whether all inventory transaction documents received for encoding are completely signed and approved by designated signatories; if not, returns said documents with missing / incomplete signatures to sender.
  3. Encodes and posts into system all approved inventory transaction documents relating to RM, FG, Scrap and Supplies movements.
  4. Ensures that such encoding of inventory transaction documents are done in an accurate and timely manner and in sequence by date and type of transaction as instructed by the Accounting Supervisor.
  5. After encoding, stamps date encoded and signs-off accordingly on the inventory transaction documents
  6. Transmit all white copies of inventory transactions documents, as well as all copies of cancelled transaction, to the Inventory Accountant for monitoring and checking of skipped series; MIRs/RRs to Inventory Accountant for checking/monitoring.
  7. For customer returns, transmits to A/R Accounting all white and pink copies of Receiving Reports (RRs) for the preparations of Credit Memos (CMs)
  8. Keeps all files relating to inventory transaction documents in their proper place in an organized and tidy manner.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate from a reputable university, preferably with a degree in Business and/or Engineering course(s)
  • with previous related experience in a high-volume encoding function
  • with previous related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid work experience in operating and using computerized accounting system, working knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office or equivalent applications
