Installation Guide

CROWN FIRESHIELD CPVC uses a simple solvent cement (TS bonding / socket welding) method:

1. Cut — Use wheel-type or ratchet cutters; cut at a right angle to the pipe axis
2. Deburr & Bevel — Remove all burrs; create a 10°–15° bevel on the pipe end
3. Dry Fit & Mark — Pipe should enter 1/3 to 2/3 of socket depth; mark insertion depth
4. Apply Solvent Cement — Apply CROWN Premium 600 CPVC cement uniformly to pipe end and fitting socket
5. Assemble — Insert with a quarter turn to distribute cement evenly; hold for a few seconds
6. Cure — Allow to cure per manufacturer guidelines before pressurizing
